Description of water systems:

The water supplied to the manufacturing facility meets the requirement of Purified Water and is supplied by a private body. This water processed by reverse osmosis and further treated in the EDI system. This treated water passed through the UV cell to meet the requirement of Purified water. This water is used in the cleaning of equipment & manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical ingredients. The storage tank, distribution loop and transfer lines of Purified water are made of Stainless steel SS316L grade. A suitable slope is given to transfer lines to avoid microbial contamination . Welding at joints of transfer lines is orbital weld. The purified water is continuously circulated in the loops and return to the storage tank. All used points provided with Zero dead leg diaphragm valves . Sampling & user points of a purified water system are identified. The Purified water meets the requirement of water quality to be used in APIs . The purified water is analyzed for the chemical and microbial test. Chemical tests cover several tests including acidity and alkalinity, hardness, conductivity, and heavy metals.
